Two signals, two meanings: The dot on the left is the overall verdict on the campaign for the selected period. The color of a number (for example CPL) is only the comparison against this campaign's own threshold. The two can diverge: a campaign still learning shows a grey dot („no verdict yet“), while its CPL figure can still be red („currently above target“).
| Status | Rule — the first one that applies wins |
|---|---|
| ⚪ Grey — learning | First delivery is less than 14 days before the end of the period. No verdict is passed yet, and weak figures are not held against it. If the campaign is already on target, it turns green („already on target“). |
| ⚪ Grey — no delivery | No spend in the selected period, so no verdict is possible. If the flight ended before the period, it reads „flight ended …“ instead — the campaign is finished, not paused. |
| 🔴 Red — action needed | CPL above the campaign's amber limit, or 0 results at spend beyond the green limit (one „expected lead“ is used up, so CPL would certainly be above target), or 0 results in two consecutive periods despite delivery. |
| 🟡 Amber — watch | CPL between the green and amber limits, or 0 results beyond half the green limit (early warning), or frequency ≥ 3.5 (audience fatigue), or overspend above 200% of the expected budget, or a template error in an ad. |
| 🟢 Green — on target | At least one result and CPL within the campaign's green limit. |
Important: The limits are set per campaign (see the „Thresholds“ tab); there is no global target. A CPL of 90 can be green for one campaign and red for another.
| Other chips | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 03.06.–18.07.26 · 1 Pause | Flight: the start is the first actual delivery (the start date configured in Meta is often earlier); the end is the stop date or „open“. Gaps of seven or more consecutive days without delivery count as a pause — the exact ranges are in the tooltip. Those weeks stay empty in the leads trend. |
| Ad-Update | At least one ad or creative was created or changed during the reporting period. |
| ⚠ Template-Fehler | The ad text contains unresolved placeholders such as {{FirstName}}. Pause or fix the creative immediately. |
| Term | Explanation |
|---|---|
| CPL | Cost per lead. Cost for each lead or applicant received. Calculation: spend ÷ number of leads. |
| CTR | Click-through rate: clicks ÷ impressions × 100. Shows how often people click the ad after seeing it. |
| CPM | Cost per mille. Cost per 1,000 impressions. Measures how efficiently reach is bought. |
| CPC | Cost per click. Cost for each click on the ad (based on total clicks). |
| Frequency | Average number of times one person has seen the ad. Formula: impressions ÷ reach. |
| Reach | Number of distinct people who saw the ad at least once. Cannot be summed from daily data — it is fetched from Meta for the whole period. |
| Boosted post | A boosted Facebook post (creative type: SHARE). No separate CTA field — the link sits in the post text. Clicks often register as post_engagement rather than link_click, which makes CTR look higher than for real ads. Not directly comparable with image or video ads. |
| Lead Form | A form filled in directly on Meta (Meta Instant Form). No redirect to the client's site is needed, and leads are captured reliably inside Meta. |
| Pixel | The Meta pixel on the client's website. It records conversion events (a form submission, for example) and reports them to Meta. It has to be installed correctly on the client's site. |
| Attribution Window | The window within which a click or a view is credited with a conversion. Default: 7 days after a click, 1 day after a view. Conversions therefore arrive with a delay — 0 leads on a single day can still mean good performance. |
| Audience-Fatigue / Creative-Fatigue | The audience has seen the ad too often and responses are falling off (CTR drops while frequency rises). A signal to change the creative or the audience. |
| CBO | Campaign Budget Optimization. Meta distributes the budget across ad sets automatically — the budget sits at campaign level instead of ad-set level. |
| Bewerber / Bewerbungen (Meta) | In a recruiting context, a Meta lead corresponds to an application received (technically action_type = 'lead'). Not automatically a qualified candidate — but an inbound contact. |
| Vergleichszeitraum | The equally long period directly before the selected one — with 9 days selected, the 9 days before that. For a full calendar week the trend chip names it („vs. W29“), otherwise it reads „vs. previous period“ with the exact dates in the tooltip. |
| Σ and Ø | The small grey value under a metric covers the entire campaign flight; the large figure above it covers only the selected period. Σ appears where things genuinely add up (spend, leads). Ø appears on CPL, because that is an average (total spend ÷ total results) — which is why it can be unter the CPL of the selected period when earlier weeks were cheaper. |
